Teen Group
Youth approximately ages 11 to 16 meet two Sundays in the month at 10 a.m. in the Center for Spiritual Living while the Sunday Service is going on. Activities vary according to the background, ages and interests of the group, but during the brief one hour gathering there is normally time for socializing, introductions, an opening affirmation (affirmative prayer) and some Science of Mind/New Thought discussions that appeal to the Teens present. Each month a theme is selected which parallels the adult meeting, and weekly a topic or focus also roughly mirrors the talks families are hearing. Movement and game activities may be interspersed which help build life skills and spiritual awareness. At the end of the hour Teens join the main program for the closing circle and refreshments.
